Inspired by The Jay-Z and Alicia Keys song ‘Empire State of mind’. Using Photoshop I built the New York landscape through layers of different buildings. However, I wanted the buildings to have a screen print effect to them so the structures of the buildings could peer through each other creating a complex and intricate landscape. A small Alicia Keys sits on top of a sky scraper above the busy city symbolising that she has concord the city and made it.
